Thank God for Daylight Savings Time!
The one good thing about Daylight Savings Time is that it’s a sign that we’re getting closer to spring and warmer temperatures.
This year’s winter, specifically during the month of February, has been nothing but brutal. Icy roads, mountains of snow, and bone chilling temperatures have been too much to bear.
But all of that torture and torment will soon be behind us. If you need any reassurance that things are getting better, just look at the temperatures during the first two weeks of March.
We’ve gone from below zero degrees in places in the Mid-West and the North and below 30 degrees in the South, to the mid-40s and fifties in the Mid-West and North and to 70 degrees throughout the South.
The Sun is out and the snow and ice are melting throughout the U.S. of A. No more stranded motorist on the roads. No more closed schools and stores.
The kiddies may not be too happy about the schools being open. But hey, they’ll get over it. Spring is almost here and the summer is not far away.
